Rejuvunated!!

Hi im back again… got rejuvenated!! Wondering how?! I was at Trichy to attend my brothers wedding. Wow what an experience it was traveling in the train with one compartment full of relatives… playing and singing!! I really cherished those moments probably remember traveling like this about 15 years back for another cousins wedding!

From the wedding I went to my maternal village. Its almost 15 years since I went there. Now I can understand how people there are much more happy and healthy there than us. Got an opportunity to visit the mango orchids and palm-oil crops. It was so nice and refreshing. With Cauvery back waters running through out…Wow what an experience it was!!

So thought of sharing with you guys the fantastic experience. To tell you the truth it was not very comfortable for us with frequent power cuts and non availability of water in the chathiram. The highlight was the mosquito bytes!! Believe me I have not seen such huge mosquitoes that too sooo many. Probably this could be because the wedding hall happened to be a place in the outskirts of the city.

But believe me I did not have any complaints about this inconvenience. I swear!! Wondering why?! I thoroughly enjoyed myself in the company of so many people. Even when a few of my relatives decided to leave the place and get to a hotel nearby I said a big NO as I wanted to participate in the wedding. My brother the groom is my dad’s brothers only son who gave me the prestigious post of naathanar to tie the two knots of the holy thread.

So what? All of us are placed in high tech cities and have all those so called facilities like water heater, aircon, car etc etc…. and spending 3 days in a kind of above mentioned atmosphere has become so difficult for us. I should mention here that those who wanted to leave the place were not those who have been born with silver spoons!! They have also been in those kinds of places in their young age. How can people forget that and act as though they rule the world!!? Atrocious! Just imagine if all of us had left who would have been there to support my cousin and do the so called rituals and give them the moral support?

At time all this makes me laugh to myself!! Of course yes!! All the comforts that we all have acquired due to our sudden change in the status have made themselves inevitable. And have become more important to us than relationships and the bonding.

Post in your comments if u all wish to.

Hmmm… something to think and realize right?!!
