CORPORATE GAMES...
I had a fantastic opportunity to participate in a team building activity conducted by the company at a beach resort. The whole day was filled with lots and lots of activities involving both physical and mental exertion. Though we had plenty of physical activities, I did not feel exhausted at all as I took it as a good opportunity to know my team mates at office and to mingle with them, know their way of thinking and their attitude which was rarely revealed in an official atmosphere.
Interactive adventures are the fastest growing and most effective team building concept in the workplace today and most importantly... it transforms coworkers into family.
Whether business needs a boost in morale, productivity, employee cohesiveness, or just looking to spice up the work week, making the decision to conduct such a program with the help of a professional expert is a good idea.
Corporate games are designed to improve employee retention, Increase productivity through better communication and synergy, Foster relationships to transform your business into a family, Stress the importance of creativity in the workplace, and
Boost morale, and Make the person who hires us look really smart.
The corporate houses these days are spending huge amounts to unite the workforce into an active team. The ideal corporate team building events concentrate on bringing together employees who do not always get the chance to communicate unofficially.
The prime ideological stand is that, if an employee does not know his or her co-workers then he or she cannot actively participate to boost up the company profile and morale as a whole. It is all about fixing the SELF, not into the category called OTHER, but under the umbrella named US.
The participants here never feel rivalry among themselves. They are conscious that it is merely a game though they need to win. Thus, they fail to concentrate on the issue that it is a part of the team building exercise tailored by the company. This lack of concentration on the subtle issue ultimately does the trick. The idea of the team is built in the consciousness of the participant that excludes the visual divisions. Winning or loosing does not ultimately matter at the end, it is the time spent in understanding each other’s views that is important and is treasured.
However, the conductor of this team building exercise must be cautious of the standard and socio-cultural background of the participants. Otherwise, the whole process may go in vain.
Everybody knows that teams work better together if the members get along well, if they know each other well enough to become a team. Such activities work on a strong consolidation principle. Collaboration and trust are two necessary key aspects between team members.
At the end you feel that more than the fun and the enjoyment it is the togetherness that created the magic to keep me fresh throughout the day, giving me more energy to pay a few more games near the beach. Wow…how refreshing it was!! I am now truly rejuvenated with high spirits… yes workshops like these definitely act as a boost and should be conducted habitually.
