FOREST GUMP
Ever find the grind of life getting you down? Is the day-to-day struggle threatening to drag you under? If so, there is a movie out there that can replenish your energy and refresh your outlook. Passionate and magical, Forrest Gump is a tonic for the weary of spirit
This New Year the 1st useful thing I did was to see Forrest Gump, though after so many years after its release. Something that is necessary to lead 2007 and the years that follow in a much better way. Just felt too happy for watching it as I go by the phrase “better late than never “.My friend who gave it to me has done such a noble thing of sharing what life is all about. Forrest Gump is about a winner, who always succeeds in life, no matter what he does. The story itself is a sweeping tale of a dim witted guy who gets pushed into the greatest of events, survives and emerges a winner. The story of how he is still true to his heart, and true to his roots.
Throughout the movie, Gump is in situations where he is harassed by other people but he never takes offense (except, of course, when his girl Jenny is being abused) at any of the insults thrown at him
During the next thirty years, Forrest becomes a star player, a war hero, a successful businessman, and something like a pop icon. Through it all, however, there is one defining element in his life: his love for Jenny. She is never far from his thoughts, no matter what he's doing or where he is. He becomes a millionaire, but gives most of the money away. He is honest and open. He loves a woman unconditionally and his friends with undying loyalty. The best part of the movie is his 3 year marathon and his wonder at the reasons people were attributing to his run... ’’The people could not believe that I was running just because I felt like it’’
Forrest Gump above the average "life story" drama: it has optimism, freshness, and emotional honesty. Forrest Gump is in reality a cocktail of artistic expression portraying beauty, subtlety, sarcasm, extremism and emotion. It is more of a philosophy than a satire if you observe a little closer. A soup for the soul served with compassion, hope and an intoxicating innocence.
I claim that it gets me in touch with my "inner child". The lines of Forest's mother in her death bed is still fresh in my mind. "Death is just a part of life, something we're all destined to do. Put the past behind you before you can move on.You have to do the best with wat god gave u. Life is like a box of chocolates; you never know what you're going to get."

The most frequently recurring theme is an admonition not to give up on life. Why surrender when you don't know what lies ahead?
If you can embrace what Forrest Gump portrays, you probably won’t become a national hero or a millionaire but chances are you will be at peace with yourself. So for all my friends out there if u do not watch this movie u have missed something in life.
One should Carve and Engrave the character of Forest Gump in their lifes as you have highlighted the moral of the move. Nice one.
